As part of our Culinary Social Responsibility (CSR) projects of Masflex (For the Love of Cooking) & KitchenPro (The Culinary Standard) brands happened at Bagupaye and Pakiing Senior High Schools Culinary Track from Mulanay, Quezon Province last February 28, 2018, we awarded scholarships to the Top 3 students  of the said school.  The top 3 students were given a culinary scholarships at Center for Asian Culinary Studies (CACS) Manila, which is owned by Chef Gene Gonzalez.  Included in the scholarship are free tuition fees & accommodation, transportation, and chef kits.

Scholars from Bagupaye and Pakiing National High School in Mulanay, Quezon Province join the Skills Program at Center for Asian Culinary Studies (CACS) – San Juan which began on June 25, 2018

 

This Certificate Program in Cooking and Baking Skills is intended for kitchen enthusiasts of all ages who have tight schedules but would like to acquire the necessary basic skills, tools, and techniques that will enable them to enhance their careers or enter a lucrative world of recreational and even professional cooking and baking.

Lessons cover all areas of basic kitchen skills; meat, fish, poultry and seafood fabrication; vegetables; pasta and other starch accompaniments and internationally accepted standards for baking. Menu planning and wine appreciation is also part of the program. This series will culminate with a lunch buffet prepared by the students. Graduates will merit a government regulated  (TESDA) certificate.

It was great to see how they built their confidence in cooking. They now leveled up their culinary knowledge with the help from professional CACS instructors

Graduation Ceremony (Legacy Buffet) at Center for Asian Culinary Studies (CACS) – San Juan

After 2 months of classes, the scholars are set to get their certificates. The CACS Graduation is commemorated with a dinner that  is popularly known as Legacy Buffet. In this celebration, the  graduating class prepares amazing dishes for their family,  friends, relatives, and guests in this event.

The three scholars have been assigned in different stations to the hot kitchen to cook and serve their  dishes for the guests Sharmaine in hot kitchen, Tin-tin in the cold kitchen, and Zyrine in the salad station

 

Chef Gene and OVP Chief of Staff Boyet Dy gave their speeches about the scholarship program of Masflex KitchenPro and CACS.
